Haiku Community Sponsors Developers Students

The Haiku OS team, which received five students at its disposal within the framework of the Google Summer of Code, decided to apply directly to the community with a request to help fund four more GSoC students who were not included in the final five. Each of them, taking into account the collected funds, is supposed to pay $ 2500 in case of successful completion of the task. This will be a very interesting experience, considering that, perhaps, for the first time, the work of students will be paid for not by the world-famous search engine, but by the users themselves.

The community responded to the call, and in the first day raised a thousand and a few dollars , which would be enough to buy half of the student. Enumerations continue to come.
