SaaS platform "1C-Bitrix: Application Rental Platform"
Again, I write about the "disgraced" in the Habré of the company "1C-Bitrix", because this time to get around their attention is just a crime. I recently wrote about the release of a version on the .NET platform, and now comes the new product “1C-Bitrix: Application Rental Platform”.
The new platform is positioned as a SaaS solution that provides the ability to use the rental model to distribute web applications.
Sergey Ryzhikov comments on the release of the new product: “Current trends in the market confirm the relevance of the SaaS model. Internet grants have long been providing various web services for rent. Gmail, Mail.ru, Yandex. Mail, Livejournal are just some of the examples. By offering a new platform to the market, we are promoting its expansion. The rental model allows you to reduce the entry threshold: the final client for a very small initial investment gets a quality product with pre-understood characteristics. We give the opportunity to reach a very wide "low" price segment and start earning ... ".
Although the official release date of “1C-Bitrix: Application Rental Platform” is the end of April 2008, it seems that this platform has been in use for quite some time: remember the virtual lab on the official website.

Unfortunately, I could not find how much this pleasure costs, apparently the demand is still not that high. It will be very interesting to see what comes out of this plan, I think it is really interesting, perhaps it will reduce the cost of the BEADS for the end user and make it more popular and in demand.
From myself I will add that it is time to stop spitting and throwing stones at the side of Beatrix, and seriously consider it as a powerful and promising tool for creating and managing any Internet projects.
