Average Freelancer Rates - Payoneer Survey Results

Hello, dear readers of “Habra". At the end of 2014, we organized a survey for freelancers to determine the average hourly rates. 23,000 people from different countries of the world took part in the survey.

Those who participated in the survey of freelancers will receive the results automatically to the registered email address.

• Only 46% of freelancers are happy with their income.

Many freelancers are unhappy with their current income and would like to increase it. The survey revealed that there is no direct relationship between the number of hours worked and satisfaction with income.

• 44% of freelancers find jobs through online exchanges


It turned out that most freelancers work through online exchanges; a significant proportion of respondents enter into direct contracts with their clients.

• The average hourly rate of freelancers in Russian-speaking countries was $ 18


We conducted research in various regions, including North and Latin America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The study involved more than 2500 freelancers from 14 countries of the former Soviet Union.
