Dot at the end of the header

Today I looked at apple.ru and saw the headline there: “Even more power. Under the thin disguise. "

But the heading is not so important as the dot located at its end. I was somewhat surprised, because as far as I remember, there’s no dot at the end of the heading, or am I confusing something?

On other "regional" sites - the same thing. Does anyone know how things are with the dot at the end of a sentence in American typography?

upd: The fact that this is an Apple site doesn’t matter much. I’m interested to know how visually annoying this point is at the end of a short line. In my opinion it looks somewhat aggressive: “I said. Point."
