Creating a local network using the existing 220v power network

I made repairs at home and ran into the problem of bringing a home network to a smartTV, which does not have wifi. Unfortunately, I did not think to throw the utp cable in advance. There is no possibility of wires, since the integrity of the repair is broken, and Wifi doesn’t catch the signal in the room where the TV is.

When I went to the electrical panel for the last time, I noticed that all the rooms were sitting on the same phase. Since there is only a power network from the existing wiring, I thought about the PLC adapter. I didn’t want to spend much money, I was looking for an inexpensive option.

The search turned out to be successful and I bought myself such PLC adapters:

Tenda P200, complete with 2 adapters, 2 cords and a tuner disk.

I assembled a hub for configuration and test:

I tried to transfer a file of 463 MB in size and here is the result:

I connected everything as in the box:

The distance between the router and the TV is about 15 meters, it works perfectly, the speed did not fall.

Bottom line: made a local network without loss of speed, wires, hammer and nails.
