Alphabetical list

It became the task to display a list of clients in a small form. Several thousand customers. when displaying all at once, the browser thought, somewhere for 20 seconds at 2.5GHz and 1GB of memory. It was decided to break the conclusion by letter. I looked at my iPhone and zadizinil just such a compact form. Maybe someone will like this decision.
UPD Spell out where I used it, I'm not writing about it here. I want to show an option how to arrange it, not standard.
