Already at the end of this week, the second CLRium seminar will take place in Moscow, where Pavel Avsenin from the DevExpress CodeRush team will speak from us on the Code Coverage in .NET .

Together with Paul, we learn:

• what kind of code coverage is, how it counts and how the tools that consider it work;
• write from scratch your simple tool that will be able to read code coverage by methods;
• in the process of writing, we will get to know the Profiling API and the amazing things that it allows us to do with applications running under the CLR control;
• let's touch the COM and ATL technologies necessary for working with the Profiling API;
• rummage through the insides of the method's body, learn in detail how it looks, including the analysis of the header and the SEH tables;
• learn how to replace the body of the method on the fly, during the execution of the program!

Come, it will be interesting! For example, among other things, the organizers promise a story from Andrei Akinshin, who in the process of preparing for the seminar actively creates and seeks to close Pull Requests directly in the CLR core repository, simultaneously running examples on Ubuntu Linux.
