A couple of words about Artificial intelligence.

Writing this topic was pushed by a wave of predictions made by habrauers for the future, in particular - <a href=sive ivanhoe.habrahabr.ru/blog/42161.html ”title="Pro Prospective Future — Technology"> this one. In the majority one way or another, AI was mentioned as one of the criteria for the onset of this very future. Moreover, AI, as I understand it, means not a smart system built on the neural principle and dealing, for example, with voice recognition (there are already such), but an AI that is close to or equal to the human mind .

I fully admit the possibility of such a mind. Even sure that it will be created. But I have a question. Why do we need all this?

I believe that it is advisable to create moderately smart systems for solving specific problems. Those tasks that are not interesting, but this can only be performed by man. And everyone will be happy.

Cyborgization and the transfer of mind to other carriers will allow a person to get the most important advantage of AI today - high speed calculations. Why create a full-fledged AI , while giving rise to a whole heap of moral, ethical and legal problems?

It is difficult to say what the IR will give us. Better not guessing. But there will be no war with robots - these are silly tales.

Yes, there will be no war. But there will be problems. And there is no intelligible motivation to take on these problems. Ie, we are creating something, saying: “We don’t know why, we’ll do it - we’ll find out . ” Maybe someone knows these reasons? Then share, please.
