RuSSIR 2015: deadline for submission of articles is approaching
On August 24-28, 2015, the 9th Russian Summer School on Information Retrieval “ RuSSIR 2015 ” will be held in St. Petersburg. This year, the school is being organized by the HSE Internet Research Laboratory in St. Petersburg and the Russian ROMIP Information Retrieval Evaluation Seminar.
Every year RuSSIR has its own special topic, one way or another connected with information retrieval. This year, the main theme of the summer school is the analysis of social networks . Read below about how many days you have left before submitting an article or application for a course!

Although the school is not soon, the deadline for submitting articles is approaching - if you want to speak at RuSSIR and / or publish your work in the Springer CCIS series, it's time to hurry! Articles and posters are accepted until April 20 inclusive (the site is still written on March 30, but I will announce exclusively for Habr that the deadline has already been decided to be extended until April 20); You can submit an article through the EasyChair system . Articles intended for the summer school must be in English, in Springer LNCS format , no longer than 12 pages. Although the main theme of the current RuSSIR will be the analysis of social networks, we will be happy to see good work on the whole range of topics related to information retrieval:
You can submit not an article, but a poster, the requirements are softer and there is no need to write as much text. And, of course, you can register and participate without any article, we will be happy for you!

But invited speakers are not the whole school program. The deadline for submitting applications for courses is coming soon. If you have something to share with the participants of RuSSIR 2015, write a small application (2 pages) with the program and a brief description of the proposed course and submit it there, in EasyChair .
Important : applications for the course are accepted until March 30 inclusive ; no extension of the deadline is expected here.
And for those potential participants who do not want to submit an article or read a course at school, we will also tell you about what the final program turned out. Plan your trip on RuSSIR this year - it will definitely be interesting!
