Online conference for Java developers DEV Labs 2015
Traditionally, we are opening a new Soft Labs conference season with a Java development event. On Saturday, March 28, during a six-hour online session, we will submit four new reports to your court. Emphasis will be placed on practical cases that will be useful in the work, as a novice and advanced specialist.
In the conference program:
• Using Spring 4 and AngularJS for developing REST-based web applications
Together with Vladimir Sonkin we will consider the development of a modern application using the RESTful API, and using the most popular frameworks to date: Spring MVC on the server side and AngularJS on the client side.

• Asynchronous data processing in Java web applications
Yevgeny Rodin will talk about the causes and consequences of the “heavy” tasks and, using illustrative examples, will show ways to solve them.
• Generate large reports using Jasper Reports
Andrey Shevchenko will talk about the architecture and the basic principles of working with the Jasper Reports reporting engine. As an example, reports will be created from a large array of source data.
• Create high-performance RESTful web services using Dropwizard
Mikhail Sokolov will show you how to use the Dropwizard framework to focus on the business part of the application, but at the same time get the tools to monitor the application and make it easier to deploy it in production.
