What are you guided in the first place, choosing a cloud provider - IaaS service provider?

Dear users of the IaaS cloud service!

The team of the magazine "In Oblake.RF" conducts a survey in order to identify the most significant criteria, which are actually guided by customers of the service IaaS, choosing a service provider. We want to know if the location of the data center and the use of branded servers, the availability of protection against DDoS attacks and the Russian-language technical support service are important for you, or whether the price and time slot for calculating traffic matter first of all.

Presumably, the IaaS supplier selection criteria should differ depending on the size of the infrastructure transferred to the cloud. To confirm or refute this assumption, in one of the first paragraphs the question was formulated about the volume of virtual machines involved.

The results of the survey with expert comments will be published in the next issue of the journal, of course, available for free download. The theme of the issue is “Infrastructure as a Service: Empowerment”.
