NES coffee table do it yourself

A 20-year-old Australian, the future 3D modeler Kyle Downes, put on display in his Ultra Awesome blog the result of his one and a half month work - Nintendo's huge huge joystick aka coffee table aka storage - NES coffee table.

It all started with the idea to improve the version of the giant joystick already announced on the G4 TV. Kyle simply printed the Nintendo joystick circuit on A4 paper, transferred it to his size (90 by 40 cm and 41 cm high) and cut out the model from a 90-mm fibreboard. The entire process of creating a joystick-table (in the form of descriptions and photographs) Kyle displayed in detail in his blog, and also laid out for everyone to see the main drawing with dimensions, so that everyone could follow his example, if desired. He writes about himself that he is an absolute newcomer in such matters, but, however, his father and uncle often helped him in the process of work - so it’s better to have someone nearby who can tell you how, for example, to cut loops correctly.

Gamers around the world are delighted with this exhibit (one of them lamented that his wife would not allow him to put this table in the living room) and would gladly complement the interior of his apartment. The top surface of the table is a lid, lifting which you can find deposits of Nintendo cartridges.
