Cruel statistics (XP vs other)

Over the past year, more and more is heard about Apple, they are everywhere, they are everywhere, it seems that the whole world is switching to Macs, not to mention the iphone, which is not in Russia, but which many Russians already have.
Microsoft is actively promoting Vista, it is already on absolutely all new laptops. The service pack came out, which fixed the bugs and speed of work, and it seems even not so disgusting, and people are switching to it.
It is also becoming increasingly popular with Ubuntu. In the tag cloud, it has already outgrown Vista.

But statistics inevitably shows that 90% of users are sitting on Windows XP . However, this number is not reduced. Or rather, it shrinks, but so imperceptibly that thoughts appear that this is the ideal operating system. Microsoft has created a monster, which itself is not able to win.

Judging by the schedule, it is not going to change, and if it goes on like this, then in the next 5 years nothing new awaits us ...

I wonder what should happen in the computer industry so that the XP schedule collapses sharply? And most importantly, who is able to bring down Windows XP? Maybe a new version of Mac OS, linux or a new Microsoft brainchild that they are preparing in their lab?
