Epson at the exhibition of applications and modern technologies MATE 2015

Epson is an information partner of the exhibition of applications and modern technologies MATE 2015 , which will be held in Moscow on March 12-14 at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center . This is a technological show, combining the novelties of mobile, augmented and virtual reality, the Internet of things, wearable technologies, consumer electronics for medical purposes, as well as the so-called “connected car” - “connected cars” technology.

At our booth, we will be demonstrating Epson Moverio BT-200 video glasses , as well as Epson Runsense SF-510F, SF-710F GPS watches and Epson Pulsense PS-100, PS-500 heart rate monitors.

Mate will be divided into B2B- and B2C-days. The first day of the exhibition - March 12 - will be an event for business representatives who are interested in applying modern technologies in their work. On March 13 and 14 MATE will be open to all guests. In addition, on March 12-13, there will be six thematic conferences at MATE Expo 2015, at which speakers, directors of companies and IT specialists will give presentations.

• March 12, 6:00 pm - APPS AWARDS : Award ceremony for developers of the best applications, to which all conference participants are invited.
• On March 12-14, Speed ​​Dealing platform will work at MATE Expo, where young developers will be able to offer their projects to investors and representatives of venture funds. During Speed ​​Dealing, entrepreneurs and sponsors will select the most promising start-ups for future collaboration.

March 14, two courses on the creation of augmented reality

At 11:00 a master class on augmented reality from the company EligoVision begins.
Course program:

• Demonstration of the capabilities of the augmented reality toolkit EV Toolbox Trial (theory) - 30 minutes.
• Practical work with the toolkit EV Toolbox Trial (practice) - 60 minutes.
• Summing up, answers to questions (about the functions and buttons of the program), the competition for the best AR-projects - 30 minutes.

Each seminar participant will have at least one own project with augmented reality. Course duration: 2 hours.

At 14:00 the workshop "5 things with augmented reality" from the company ARProduction starts.
The course includes:

• Installing free applications to create augmented reality.
• Training in work with programs.
• Creating your own augmented reality.

Course duration: 2 hours.

In addition, on March 14, the Hi-tech Fashion Show podium will be organized with a demonstration of clothes created using innovative technologies.
