Weekly assembly Vivaldi 1.0.111.2

Another week has passed and we traditionally offer to test the next test build of the Vivaldi browser (number 1.0.111.2). Work on this version went along the same lines: implementation of the functions requested by users, improvement of the existing capabilities of the browser, and correction of errors. Let's start with the new products, which today are not very many (much still in the process of implementation).

So, starting from this build, we offer for testing a 64-bit version for Windows. Immediately, we’ll warn you that not all plugins are supported yet, and 64-bit versions are required for correct operation.

Also noticeable innovations include the addition of new localizations. The fact is that Chromium supports only 53 locales, and our translation team, which already has 80 people, translates the browser interface into 33 languages ​​(including even such an exclusive as Ido - Esperanto’s successor. In this assembly, it is not yet available). However, several languages ​​are not supported in Chromium. Therefore, we have implemented our own localization system, which now allows you to add any languages ​​without restrictions. In the new assembly of the browser were added:

A lot of work has been done with the bookmarks panel that appeared in the previous build. Now you can turn off the display of site icons, leaving only the name. If there are a lot of tabs on the panel and all of them do not fit, some of them will be available in the drop-down list.

Another feature has been improved in the new assembly - the Return button, which did not always work correctly.
