Sun sends out Solaris 10 disks for free

Sun Microsystems offers everyone free to order DVDs with the Solaris 10 operating system (versions for the SPARC and x86 platforms), as well as the software package for the Sun Studio 11 developers.

If the action is successful, then Solaris 10 will become quite popular, as in its time the distribution of Ubuntu Linux, which the company also sent out for free.
