July 29, once again, for the seventh time, the
annual Microsoft Research Summer School will open in St. Petersburg. This time the school’s theme is
machine learning and intelligence . The school program includes lectures and seminars by world-class scientists from leading universities from around the world, including from Russia, as well as Microsoft Research researchers. The head of the school is Evelyne Viegas, director of the semantic computing department at Microsoft Research Redmond. Details under the cut.

Microsoft summer schools have been held for more than 7 years in different cities of Russia. Schools have always been devoted to the key topics of Computer Science: HPC, computer vision, verification, large data processing algorithms, parallel computing, clouds.
