Solution: Adobe AIR does not find a connected iOS device from under Windows 7

UPD: In the last beta of 17.0.0.123, the issue was resolved

Today, a Skype developer turned to me, who was unable to install a compiled application from Flash Builder directly on the iPhone. If someone does not know - there is such an opportunity. Enough to have installed iTunes.

But the problem was very insidious. Having the most current version of iTunes - the air17_sdk_win \ lib \ aot \ bin \ iOSBin \ idb.exe installer from the Adobe AIR SDK pack produced a disappointing answer:

iTunes MobileDevice library not found. Please check your iTunes installation. image
')
To solve the problem, all the packages that came with the tuna, including himself, were completely uninstalled, and after a fresh installation, there was still a depressing inscription.

I recognized the model of the video card from him (he probably also asked himself “And where is the video card?”) And sent to this page support.apple.com/downloads/#itunes

It turns out that for some unknown reason, Apple, as always, broke up improving something in its software to such an extent that now owners of old video cards (in this case the card was released in mid-2010) may need special versions of iTunes.

The developer downloaded the installer iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards ) and he did it all!

I hope that this note will be useful to developers under Adobe AIR!

- Release 16.0.0.292 (February 12, 2015)
- Beta 17.0.105 (dated February 11, 2015)
