Calls from a landline to a “direct” mobile will be free and beyond
The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications allowed not to charge for local calls from fixed phones to cellular phones with "direct" numbers. This follows from the order of the Ministry of Information and Communications N 177 “On Amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of the Russian Federation of 08.08.2005 N 98”, Prime-TASS reports.
According to the order, local calls from fixed phones to cellular phones will be directly transferred from the fixed-line network to the cellular network, and no fee will be charged to fixed-line subscribers. It is not charged even now, but according to the previously valid documents this order was temporary - until January 1, 2007. Order No. 177 allowed not to charge such a fee at all.
