Navigation device of the beginning of the last century

Long before the existence of satellite navigation, back in 1927, such a portable device as the Plus Four Wristlet Route Indicator was created , which can now be called a kind of substitute for our modern GPS navigators.


The device looks like a wristwatch; it has two levers that allow you to scroll back and forth on the paper map. There were 20 different cards in it and at that time it cost £ 5. To some extent, this device can even be considered the progenitor of our modern navigation devices.
