Google Play Store blocked Firefox for Android (most likely by mistake)

Firefox developers are discussing bug 1131601 , because of which Firefox is blocked in the app store. When contacting the address play.google.com play.google.com comes 403 Forbidden , based on the wrong User Agent. On the screen is:

This browser is no longer supported.
Please use the Google Play Store app to access Google Play.

Naturally, conspiracy theories immediately went, because 3 months ago Mozilla abandoned Google as the main search engine in Firefox. Allegedly, Google is taking revenge - and the company has found a reason to declare Firefox for Android "obsolete."
')
Google sent letters to some media ( one more ) that “will soon” release an update.

But the source of the problem is still not entirely clear.

At this moment the error is not fixed .

UPD. Well, all fixed, false alarm.
