The Interfax news agency reports new victims of “Nigerian letters” : two Minsk women fell for the trick of the scammers. Women had the imprudence to believe the sender of the letters — the “prince of Nigeria” —and to transfer a significant amount to his account.
Without breaking the usual scheme, the “prince” wrote that he was having difficulty transferring funds from his troubled country, and asked for help in this matter, promising solid commissions. The “organizational moments”, which the fraudster traditionally offered to pay, cost $ 20,000 to Minsk women. Now the law enforcement bodies of Minsk are engaged in their business.
