Our system has no mathematical or logical connection with other coordinate systems, including the most popular one: WGS84, also known as GPS.
For this reason, in order to include w3w in the list of supported TWCC coordinates, we had to use our API to convert the WGS84 coordinates into three words, and vice versa.
