Microsoft is changing good Windows Store apps for certificates

What do i usually need to get an MCSD Developer Certificate? Study, study and study again. Work, work and work again. And after all this, having already a fairly large amount of knowledge, you need to pass 3 exams. Having handed over the first of them (70-480 or 70-483), you receive the certificate Microsoft Certified Professional. But further, if you have the desire for career and professional growth, you need to pass more exams to get the MCSD.

But! Now there is an opportunity to go the alternative way and quickly pass the exam for MCSD! (I would not like to use advertising style, but the opportunity is really unique!)
')
As part of the App To Cert program, you can review your application under development. If your application meets all guidelines - you will be able to pass only one Advanced Windows Store App Development exam and get the MCSD certificate.

In the case, if any shortcomings are found in your application, you will have the opportunity to eliminate them in some time and send the application for re-verification. The check is conducted by a Microsoft engineer using Lync conference. In my case, we talked without video. Communication took place in English.

I quite liked the tips from the expert support. Some of them dealt with the changes in 8.1 that I missed, some were quite simple, but they touched upon quite necessary points. The recommendations were really sensible, and the support expert turned out to be a rather pleasant person to communicate with, so it is quite advisable to go through the review to at least find new ideas for improving the application.

I went through the review, correcting the shortcomings. Now, if I pass the 482nd or 485th exam, I can get a MCSD certificate by sending my MCP ID and application URL to AppRevToCert@microsoft.com

Registration is available at: App Review To Cert Program . As I understand the phrase “Open to worldwide Microsoft developer audience”, registration is available to all developers. I did not find any special requirements other than having an application under development.

Plus, if you have time to pass a review, publish the application, and before the 31st of March 2015 you plan an exam, then you will have the opportunity to take another action called Second Shot , which will allow you to get a second free try. passing the exam if it is unsuccessful.
