We connect Ethernet ENC28J60 via SD card-reader for WEB-Servera to Arduino
Hello. Faced with the technical difficulty in building a WEB server, I thought up to make an adapter which probably no one has ever done (although I could be wrong). It turned out to be simple and quite practical.
For what it is needed and how to create it, I will tell and show, as well as show a video review of the performance of web servera on the adapter. It all started with the creation of the Sauna with a touch screen and a WEB interface. Separately programmed the menu for the screen on the Arduino MEGA2560 and the web server on the Arduino UNO (at the end of the project "SAUNA" - there will be an article with diagrams and a program). ')
Everything seems to be going fine, the installation began:
And when I connected and uploaded the server ...
... then I realized that the fun is just beginning. The site then opened, then there is no, ping sometimes overloaded for 1000, punched to change the choice of the crystal, sinned for RAM (Although ATmega2560 has more than ATmega328 (UNO)).
And only when my hands fell I decided to remove the transition board for the LCD from the MEGA 2560, and then everything worked, the site opens in a split second, ping <or = 1, everything worked perfectly.
The cause of glitches and problems was the buffer at 3.3V in the transition board, I initially thought that they are activated when the signal of the choice of the CS SD card comes in ... And it turns out that not everything is there as I would like.
And here I thought flashed and what if you use this buffer to feed signals to the Ethernet module, because the SD card is at 3.3V and the Ethernet module is at 3.3V (Although there are 5V). In the end, I soldered the train and my transitional fee began to look like this:
I did the loop for a relatively short time who wants to see how to make it, that is, a video review of the creation of this loop. Stock up on pop food:
Diagram of the loop:
In this case, my WEB server was created without using an SD card, so you can safely occupy an SD card slot.
I hope you liked the idea (maybe the Chinese are already doing something like that).
And finally, I want to provide a video review of the test adapter:
