Golden Telecom Receives Long-Distance Codes

Golden Telecom (GT) received ownership of codes for the provision of long-distance services. According to RBC news agency, the announcement that GT subscribers will be able to make international and long-distance calls using access codes "56" and "51" was made in March of last year. These codes were officially issued by the company today.

In the next three years, GT expects to occupy about 20% of the long-distance communications market in Russia. According to the company's management, the volume of this segment will reach $ 3.5-4.5 billion by 2010.
