“Open Financial Data: Possibilities for Using It”
Friends, as a variety announcement of the event, one of those that we regularly hold. Previously, we never announced it on Habré, for fear of offline habraeffekt, but maybe we were afraid in vain?
We will organize a seminar at which representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the World Bank, Linked Data specialists and your humble servant will speak.
I also ask everyone in the comments to note which of the departments you would like to meet and talk with. In a seminar format, whether lectures or or meetings with developers. And maybe in the format organized by them or with their participation in the hackathon.

The Ministry of Finance of Russia and Infoculture NP invite you to the Workshop "Open Financial Data: Possibilities for Using It", which will be held on January 30, 2015 at the Rinko Plaza Business Center.
This meeting will be interesting to you if:
- You are a journalist and want to learn about a new promising direction - data journalism. What is it, where to get the data, how the media is interested in buying articles from data journalists.
- You are a developer and want to find out how linked data works and “big data” from state information systems is used. What applications and projects on the basis of open state data are demanded by consumers - by state bodies and citizens and the most successful examples of “sales” of projects based on public open data.
- You know all this, for a long time and successfully use open data in your work and want to talk about your experience and discuss pressing issues with leading experts in the field of open data in Russia and representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Russia - the owner of open data on budget, public debt, budget institutions and public procurement.
