Why use clones?

There are many successful and really necessary Internet services. There are countless different clones of them. Often the quality of clones is below the level of the leader, or at best no worse than him . But almost always clones contain nothing fundamentally new.

The question is, why do people use them?

In my opinion, you need to think three times before doing a mass service, and at least twice to think before using clone services. Why mock listeners \ readers \ viewers, especially making it difficult to access their information?
