Samsung Electronics officially unveiled the new curved SE790C monitor, which could be seen live earlier in September at IFA 2014. The horizontally stretched curved screen of the SE790C provides a more natural and comfortable viewing environment and reduces eye strain when compared to a new monitor with flat counterparts. These facts are confirmed by the presence of a TÜV Rheinland certificate, which requires testing of color rendition, color uniformity, viewing angles and other important parameters.
Among the features of the SE790C, two functions can be noted: Picture-in-Picture (PiP) 2.0 and Picture-by-Picture (PbP). With the help of PbP, the user can divide the screen into two or four zones, while the image can be transmitted to them from two different sources. Flicker Free technology to reduce flicker will provide comfort for the eyes during prolonged use of the monitor, and two 7-watt stereo speakers will give good sound quality.
