The first day of the conference was hosted by the Voronezh State University. We took a great assembly hall of VSU and added a little Google holiday to it.

An avid film fan, Andrew has developed a prototype of the application for buying tickets to cinemas. All guests of the conference could download and independently test the prototype.

A guest from Yandex, Timur Gaskarov (@BarakAdama), spoke about the Custo project developed on the Chromium engine.

This year’s Wearables block was the most eventful.

Alexey Rybakov told about the history of wearable devices and predicted the near future of this direction. We were amused by such wonders as Watch Phone SPH-WP10 (be sure to look at the photos ) and immersed in the history of wristwatches from the 19th century (when they first appeared) to our days, when Moto360, Pebble and other smartwatches gradually become an integral part of our daily life.

Vadim Kotov delved into the development guidelines for Android Wear.

Valery Kharitonov shared his experience in developing a music application for “smart watches”. Work on the application has not yet been completed, but the achievements of Valery and his colleagues are already impressive.

Arseny Pechenkin was the last to speak out with the secrets of success of the hackathoner. Arseny managed to really ignite the audience and ideally complete the first day of the conference.

The most active participants of the conference received excellent gifts from the organizers.

December 14, the day of practice

On the second day, the first Design Sprint in the city was scheduled. The participants decided not to divide into teams, but to try by joint efforts to create a really cool application for smart watches. Technical experts from DataArt and SurfStudio helped them: Aleksey Rybakov and Vadim Kotov.

In the course of heated discussions and many hours of fruitful work, an application for travelers was designed, allowing you to make audio, text and video notes and save on the map the place where they were taken. Simple, useful and convenient - what else is needed for a good smartwatch application?

Experts connect to the discussion.

The result of the day was the appearance of a well-coordinated, working like a good clock (pun intended) team. Participants decided not to post their idea after completing Design Sprint and to meet again someday. For our part, we really hope to someday see the app designed by the guys on Google Play.
