Odesk closes user accounts in Crimea and freezes funds

I just received a letter from Odesk, the name of one of the world's largest freelance exchanges. I guess the community will be interested. I give the content as it is.

In general, we are talking about the fact that the accounts of freelancers and clients living in the Crimea are closed (it seems to be temporary, but not completely clear), and the funds for them are frozen until a photo of a notarized piece of paper about living outside Crimea is provided , a photo of a non-Crimean identity card and a payment method unrelated to Crimea. This was caused, allegedly, by a new decree of the US government of December 19, 2014. Odesk hopes to rectify this situation and talks about a couple of months and hope for future cooperation.

All of my clients were also notified that I could no longer continue to work with them.

Account closed (suspended). I will take my leave for this.
