New chat and WebRTC - in 3CX Phone System 12.5

One of the important 3CX Phone System v12.5 RC updates is the updated 3CXPhone chat for Windows and Mac. Now you can start a video call from WebRTC or a 3CX WebMeetings conference directly from a chat.

WebRTC video call right from chat

Now you can quickly switch from text to video and voice calls through WebRTC. Just click on the icon “Send WebRTC Call”, and a link to the WebRTC session will be sent to the colleague. The ability to send screenshots and videos makes communication even more convenient and informative!

Start conference 3CX WebMeetings with one click

In addition to sending a link to WebRTC, you can initiate a WebMeetings conference, where you will be the organizer and you can invite other participants. To do this, click the icon Create WebMeeting. 3CX WebMeeting is a full-fledged video conferencing, with the possibility of publishing materials and sharing the browser.

Moreover, clicking on the “Chat History” icon in Windows or selecting “Show history” on Mac, you can view the entire history of communication.
