Sensomotor coordination (SMK). Professional research / pilot training

Toy quadcopters and professional test for pilots - is there anything in common?
Recently, I wrote about the psychophysiology laboratory of Moscow State University and about iddqd quadrocopters (with a code for immortality). Immediately after I looked into my brain while reading Habr and managing drones , I passed a professional test for the special services of pilots and dispatchers.

In Europe, the passage of this test is a prerequisite for the issuance of flight certificates and licenses for driving trucks.

In the test, two absolutely separate characteristics are evaluated: “the ability for proactive coordination” and the ability for reactive coordination. The corresponding task is to correctly arrange the segment (yellow) in 2 linear axes and along one axis of rotation and fix it in place. The test lasts 10 minutes. In essence, this test is the same as landing on a quadrocopter over a limited area (for example, a book) during a variable side wind. According to my personal feelings, the concentration level of drone control and test execution is comparable, but with a quadcopter it is a bit more interesting.

Test results:

I was told that “overall, not bad”

Andrei Uchaev: “Data can be estimated by percentile (PR). Translating from Russian into Russian, the percentile is your place in the sample. They took 100 random people and tested them. The place where you were in the ranking is your percentile. Or, in another way, the 64th percentile means that you cope better than 64 percent of the hedgehogs of people (sample / population). And just below the graph, the dark gray zone is the average. The more to the right - the steeper. In the brighter zone on the right is even better. Far to the right - in general nishtyak! All is not lost! ”
