On December 9 in Moscow (press center RIA Novosti) at the press conference "Results of LTE networks development in Russia in 2014", held by the information and analytical agency TelecomDaily , we presented the results of the UXZoom methodology on the dynamics of changes in the quality of mobile Internet services "through the eyes of subscribers" for November 2014 compared to July 2014.

What do the numbers say below:
- on average, for watching a 15-minute video, you spend about 45 seconds waiting for a download;
- the number of views that you interrupted at the time of buffering, comes to 9.4%.

In comparison with July 2014, 3BIG (in Moscow) has a positive trend in improving the quality of viewing videos, including through the active development of LTE networks.

At the moment, in mobile networks, the average bitrate of the video being viewed is about 900 Kbps with 360p picture quality. The active implementation of HD Internet services, FullHD and Ultra HD video and the growing demands of subscribers to watch with high quality (including due to the development of user devices) will triple the requirements for mobile Internet speeds in the next 2 years.
