DigitalOcean announced data center in Germany

DigitalOcean, one of the largest VPS hosting service providers in the world, once again makes users happy by listening to their requests. In August 2013, one of the users of their services on User Voice portal created an offer to open a data center in Germany. This was to significantly improve the quality of services for users from Europe.

Most recently, on December 12, 2014, an official response was received from a company representative.

We are very pleased to announce that we have signed a contract for a new data center in Germany with our supplier.
This means that in 2015 you will be able to raise your droplets in Frankfurt.
We are going to prepare everything for launch within a few months and thank you for your continued support.
