Crowdsourcing translation of OWASP Testing Guide 4.0 has been launched into 30+ languages ​​(including Russian)

Today, a post appeared on the OWASP project twitter, inviting everyone to join the OWASP Testing Guide 4.0 translation.

In short, the OWASP (The Open Web Application Security Project) is an open project that aims to make application security more transparent so that any developer is aware of potential vulnerabilities or weaknesses in his application. As part of the project, the community (which anyone can join) is working on articles, documentation and tools that can be useful in application security issues. All this is in the public domain .

One of the OWASP projects is the Testing Guide . This guide includes “best practices” for pentest that users can use in their organizations and a low-level pentest guide that describes testing techniques for common security problems in web applications and web services.
