Welcome to CocoaHeads Moscow December 5th

Winter has come, which means that after a couple of months Apple will present the long-awaited Apple Watch. In order for developers to prepare for launch, the Watch Kit was introduced in November, which allows you to write applications that use all the capabilities of watches. Therefore, one of our speakers, Zimin Alexander , will share his opinion on the Watch Kit, tell you how to eat it, and show an interactive demo. Since this is a completely new kit, Alexander hopes to translate his report into a discussion, where everyone who has had time to look at this tool will express his thoughts or share his experience.

The second speaker will be Alexander Cherny with a no less relevant topic “ Trilateration with the help of iBeacon ”. iBeacon is a technology introduced by Apple in iOS 7 that allows the transfer between wireless devices - beacons - and devices that support Bluetooth LE. Alexander will tell you about the use of this technology for indoor navigation and the tools provided for this iOS.

Habitual reports will expand roundtable workshops, in which three to five experts will share their experience with one technology or another. In this way, they will be able to gather around them the most interested people, answer questions in detail and confirm their words with an example of code. After the meeting we will also try to gather in one of the neighboring pubs. At the moment, negotiations are underway, as finding a place for 20-30 people on Friday evening is not so easy.
