Communication with users is an important component of any project. Sometimes you need to go to a meeting for users and the first to start a dialogue. Email notifications are the perfect way to tell a person about any changes and results. This can lead to very unexpected results. How we did email notifications for LPCloud will be discussed in this article.

LPCloud is a service for launching and managing sales pages. In the first version of the project, we had only one email - this is a notification about a new application with the Landing Page. We did not send any other messages by users. Then we decided to conduct an experiment and made a series of letters.

We introduce a single style and personalization


We pay attention to the design and bring all the letters to a single style. We add a name to each letter and pull up a user's photo through gravatar . As a result, the letter of the new application looks like this.

Close objections


In the next letter we send users reviews of well-known companies. In the letter we add a photo of a person, his name, position and company website. Review of the course of course agree :)

Stimulate to make a payment


We warn the person that his trial period is ending soon. We inform you that when you pay the annual tariff is given a 20% discount. Reception is quite simple, but in our case it allows you to immediately get several customers with a yearly subscription.

We work with non-paying customers


To know the reason for leaving the user enter a small questionnaire. Almost 20% of users after this letter express their opinion, some write to the support service, and some even call the hotline.
