On the subject of posts ...

I’ll probably look like an old woman who will say that “habrahabr is not the same, but there were times ...” In fact, it would have sounded silly: everything flows and everything changes — I did not notice it first. Just some of the trends are not encouraging ...

For example, recently it has become fashionable to post pieces of code and extensions for various javascript libraries. I understand that habrakhabr like no other place is ideal for sharing knowledge. It seems to me quite normal to post news, analyze them, arrange a brainstorm on topical issues, and when it comes to programming, give abstract examples with code fragments. But to fill up the tape with the fact that it is already on Google’s first request, and, moreover, is not the result of the author’s personal achievements, I don’t like it.

I would not like to try to limit the above colleagues to habra-posting, but I appeal to them with a proposal to use the possibilities of the beloved site differently. It would be better to take all the most interesting extensions for the same jQuery, write a great post with their description, use, links to examples - and you would have unlimited habra-honor and habra-praise!
