And they are waiting for you to come and teach them how to code. 1 day, 1 lesson, 1 hour. It is really easy.
Today we want to tell you about the Hour of Code initiative of the Code.org project and invite you to participate. Especially since this year, this is all officially supported by our state . Moreover, December 4 is the informatics day in our country, and December 5 is the international volunteer day.
So. Hour Code is an international series of programming training activities. We can all participate in this. All you need is to conduct a lesson in one of the schools in your city in the week from 4 to 12 December according to the proposed methodology.

The project in 2013 was founded by Ali and Hadi Patrovi, famous business angels in the valley. At the moment, it is financially supported by companies such as Microsoft, Google, Facebook ( full list here ). The goal of the project is to make programming the same standard lesson in the school curriculum, such as algebra, biology, or physics. In addition, Code.org is an excellent free online platform for teaching children to play programming in the form of games, which we tried in our lessons and will definitely write a separate article about it.
