Service Ahoba.co has become a nominee in the competition "Startup of the Year 2014"!

Yesterday, November 17, a list of projects that were selected for participation in the “Startup of the Year 2014” award-competition was announced. A total of 342 applications were submitted, of which 155 projects were selected to participate in the competition, including our service Ahoba.co - http://award.inc.hse.ru/nominants2014

In our nomination “The Best Internet Startup” (there are six nominations in total: Global Startup, Team of the Year, Best Hardware Startup, Best Internet Startup, Best Fintech Startup, Socially Important Startup) 40 participants. In the next round, the jury will select 3-4 candidates from them to participate in the final. Let's wait, fingers crossed!

Funny fact: Our designer Serega twice participates in this competition this year ... First, as you can guess, as part of the team of our project Ahoba.co, and second, as the interface designer of another start-up nominee. This is the project “Hello? I'm running! ”- a service whose interfaces Sergey developed as an outsourcing freelancer. At the same time, this project is in the same nomination “The Best Internet Startup”, as our project Ahoba.co. So fate decreed that Seryoga was competing with himself ...

About the Startup of the Year Award

This competition was organized by the HSE Business Incubator. The history of the event begins in 2008 and has been going on for 7 years. The Startup of the Year award is presented annually to the most outstanding projects in the business community. This year, the Startup of the Year 2014 award was organized with the support of RVC and Sberbank of Russia.

The main task of the Prize is to encourage the most successful and interesting entrepreneurial undertakings. Mark a professional approach to creating a new business, evaluate the success of bright startups and motivate young entrepreneurs to conquer new business tops.

“Startup of the Year” is a kind of Oscar for startups, a spectacular and interesting show. At the awards ceremony, viewers will not only be able to read the success stories of young entrepreneurs and watch videos about nominee projects, but also vote for their favorite startups.
