Translation of an article from the Web worker Daily:
“Change Your Work Hours to Get More Done .
”
One of my most beloved children's authors, Roald Dahl (Roald Dahl), had a very specific daily routine. “I start working at 10 and finish exactly at 12. Always.” He said in an interview to Tod McCormack.

For residents of a society with a tense rhythm, this sounds incredible, but working in such a rhythm Roald Dahl made a brilliant career as a writer. He wrote such best-selling books as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, and the Great Good Giant (my favorite book).
I do not call everyone to work only 2 hours a day. But why not, if this is your daily maximum? Why force yourself to work in hours that you do not fit? As a web worker you are the master of your time and work schedule.
Studying yourself and your work patterns is the key to an effective daily routine. It took me years until I realized that my best hours to work were between 6 in the morning and noon. Paying attention to my productivity patterns, I would come to this conclusion much earlier and save time.
You probably already know if you are a lark or an owl, and this may be the starting point for determining the best hours to work. Attention! Conduct an experiment: try to work in opposite hours. Maybe it will be exactly what you need. I always considered myself an owl, but I tried to start working before 9 am, and I liked that. Of course, it was not without the use of willpower :-)
It is amazing what the difference in productivity is from a simple shift in working hours. As soon as I concentrated my efforts at work in peak hours of productivity, the work went faster than I would have thought. What was previously supposed to do a week now takes me a few hours.
Result? More time, more money, less stress.
