Social network for learners of foreign languages

The idea of a startup.

I work as a translator and for more than 10 years I have been studying English. I still can’t say that I know him perfectly, because I often discover something new in my language, or some new, deeper understanding of some of its laws or rules comes. Quite often (especially during work) I find myself thinking that it would be nice if at any moment I would have the opportunity to contact a native speaker and discuss something with him, ask him to explain some linguistic and grammatical phenomena that are well-established expressions, etc. In turn, I would gladly provide the same service to a foreigner who studies Russian. Several times, when there was a question about the soundness and convenience of perception of various constructions, I even tried to find some Englishman in ICQ, and talk with him about this topic, but not everyone will have time and desire to do it. It was then that I thought that if there was such a network uniting people who love and learn some foreign language, then personally it would be very useful for me. And if she would be useful to me, then perhaps she would have been useful to someone else.

So: a social network for learners of a foreign language (for a start, you can limit yourself to Russian and English), in which people can find a partner of a language for communication, correspondence and assistance in learning the language (and in work). With the network, you can organize something like a forum for discussing various language problems.

Target audience: translators and people learning foreign languages.
