We wanted to share the latest Payoneer news on staffing. Patrick de Courcy, former deputy executive director of SWIFT, joined Payoneer as head of the Asia-Pacific region. Hans Morris, managing partner of NYCA Partners, former president of Visa and head of Citi, joined the board of directors of Payoneer. His company also made a small investment in Payoneer.




Patrick de Courcy worked for SWIFT for more than 20 years, occupying various positions, including financial, in the field of product management, marketing and sales, was responsible for the development of the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. de Courcy has extensive experience in international payments, banking and knows this region very well.

Patrick de Courcy will work from an office in Hong Kong, engaging in establishing partnerships with leading companies in this area, developing and implementing new strategies. The Asia-Pacific region is one of the key markets for Payoneer; the company recently received strategic investments from the Ping An Group , a leading financial services provider and the largest non-state enterprise in China. In January 2014, Payoneer began to collaborate with the Japanese company Quantium Solutions Inc. , (a subsidiary of Singapore Post), in order to provide Japanese retailers with a full package of services, not only in receiving payments, but also in logistics.

Hans Morris has over 30 years experience in the financial sector. He served as president at Visa at the time when the company entered an IPO, at that time the largest in US history. Before joining Visa, Mr. Morris spent more than 20 years in senior positions at Citigroup. He recently established NYCA Partners, a venture capital and consulting firm . Morris investment partners in NYCA are Max Levchin, co-founder of PayPal, and Osama Bedier, former head of Google Payments.
