And at the end of the post voiced the winners of the competition for projects on VoCore.

Hackspace in Beijing ( site ) was founded 3 years ago. In the second year of existence, the state joined.

There are about 300 participants in the Hackspace, the minimum membership cost is 100 yuan.

Type of membership depends on the time at which you are going to attend hackspace. Details written in the booklet . But no one checks this - everything remains on the conscience of the participants, the situation is quite informal.

Types of Hackspace Membership:

1 yuan ≈ 6.7 rubles.

Receipts from participants do not cover the costs of hackspaces, additional revenues come from events. Companies such as Lenovo hold their events and pay money for it to hackspace.

Two workshops per week are usually devoted to how to do something with your own hands. Discounts of 70% for members. Plus, the training is conducted to work with the equipment.

Unlike hakspeysov in Shenzhen (about which we told ), where the focus is the embodiment of ideas in the product. In Beijing, hackspace is more a place for communication, development and learning. In any case, such an idea of the administration. In fact, this is a combination of both, there are those who come to talk, most of them, but there are also members who work full time on commercial projects, which then appear on the kickstarter.

Getting started
