HTML5 standard has reached W3C recommendation status

The news is very short, but no less important: the W3C officially announced HTML5 as a recommendation .

“Today, without any hesitation, we watch the video and listen to the audio directly in the browser, without hesitation, using the browser in the phone,” said Tim Berners-Lee, director of W3C. “We expect to be able to share photos, buy, read news and receive information anywhere, on any device. HTML5 and the open web platform, while remaining invisible to most users, make these expectations of the users possible and move forward. ”
