Google and AOL do not allow their users to communicate

Almost a year has passed since the conclusion of the agreement between Google and AOL, but the Google Talk and AIM internet pagers still remain incompatible, according to Micro Persuasion website.

A Google press release on this matter states that Google Talk and AIM users can communicate with each other if "certain conditions are met." What exactly - is not said.
