Coursera launched 18 new courses

The online educational platform Coursera announced the launch of 18 new specializations covering a wide range of industries, including entrepreneurship, software and healthcare.



The leader in the Ed-Tech industry offers its users so-called “massive open online courses” (MOOCs). In January, Coursera was the first educational platform to offer its students a new kind of certified educational programs that allow them to study university courses and become professionals in a particular field.

Coursera reported that more than 1.5 million students have participated in the new programs since launch. The platform started at one time with just 10 courses, among which, in particular, was the course “Programming mobile cloud applications with Android”.
