It has long been known that not only starships from STAR WARS or Delorians from Back to the future can be assembled from LEGO, but also quite practical things .
Most recently (in September of this year) the project LEGO Brick Drone Frame - a set to create a quadrocopter from LEGO - was successfully completed on Kickstarter.
The idea of the authors of the project was born in 2012 and only now has grown from a hobby into a business. ')
Of the required $ 200, more than 6,000 were raised!
The kit includes both standard parts of the designer, and specially developed and printed on a 3D printer components - holders for engines and mount for GoPro camera.
The kit is already available for order on the project website for $ 125. Sadly, apart from the parts of the constructor and the fixings, it includes only the assembly instructions and a recommended list of the remaining components, i.e. motors, battery, etc. will have to purchase yourself.
PS Without departing from the topic, I want to ask the readers what design kits for creating drones do you know which could be used in the educational process for children (assembly, tuning, flying)?
