PayPal has limited the amount of anonymous payments in Russia

Like other payment systems, PayPal decided to change the amount of a one-time anonymous payment in Russia by 15 thousand rubles. Just the other day, the company's user agreement was updated, and the amount of anonymous payment is limited.

The restriction will be valid from next month, from November 18th. If anyone needs to translate more, there is still time, albeit a bit.

Currently, a user who fails the authentication procedure cannot transfer and have more than 15 thousand rubles on his account. In addition, no more than 40 thousand rubles are allowed to be transferred per month (we are talking about the electronic means received during the month).

Unfortunately, a user who has not undergone the personification procedure will not be able to receive transfers (quite recently, PayPal users in Russia have received such an opportunity) or to withdraw funds to their bank account.

As for the personalized user who has gone through the simplified procedure, he can transfer no more than 200 thousand rubles per month. One-time money transfer is limited to 60 thousand rubles. An account can only be held in rubles - this applies to anonymous users and users who have undergone a simplified verification procedure.

Users who have undergone a full verification procedure can transfer 550 thousand rubles at a time, have an account in a currency other than the ruble, and transfer no more than 5 thousand dollars a day abroad.

Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are deprived of the opportunity to transfer funds to anonymous (unidentified individuals) and also to receive funds from other legal entities.

The identification procedure is to provide a phone number, passport details, and (optionally) an individual taxpayer number, insurance account number or health insurance policy.
